The Wedding of Courtnay & Rowan

We met in January 2015 outside of the American Embassy at around 6am in the morning. Through a mutual friend Courtnay knew who Rowan was and after seeing him outside the embassy introduced herself with a hug. Though if you ask Rowan the same story he will tell you she pounced on him in the middle of the street.

We started working in Branson, Missouri together a few weeks later and It took us around 8 months to finally realize we were more than just friends. Everyone else knew before we did.
I guess our first proper date was a weekend trip to St. Louis where we fell in love with the city and each other.

We took a break from Branson and We worked on the Queen Elizabeth Cruise Ship for 6 months and we also got to perform together in the UK, Israel and Spain and Canada.
We have been extremely lucky to have been able to call them all working holidays, I think we have visited something like 30 dierent countries together.

We moved back to Branson in 2018 and began making more friendships, adopted families and amazing memories.
Even through the craziness of 2020 we got to keep performing and working which made us feel extremely lucky as so many weren’t able to do it. The special part of 2020 was that Courtnay choreographed her first full show with the company we work for. ANTHEMS OF ROCK. It is now in its 3rd season in Branson and it was also produced in Myrtle Beach , South Carolina. Rowan couldn’t be prouder about this particular achievement of Courtnay’s.

Rowan does a fabulous job as Courtnay’s uber driver, as she can’t drive. He is also everyone’s GO TO GUY. If you need ANYTHING he has got you covered. He has a heart of gold.

If we are not extremely busy at work, you can find us on the couch binge watching tv series and films. We love going out for breakfast. And have abit of a Starbucks coee problem! We both LOVE everything Disney, we can pretty much quote the whole of the Friends tv series (“He’s her Lobster”) and we love animals, especially dogs.

The hardest thing we have been through together was being away from our amazing families, the long portal calls definitely helped and was a godsend so we got to see (not being biased) the most amazing nephews grow up through our tv screen.

Rowan FINALLY asked Courtnay to marry him mid way through our epic o season 4,000 mile road trip across America, on the 8th of January 2022 Rowan had barely got down on one knee to ask the question before Courtnay shouted “YES!!!!!”
It was on a secluded sand dune on Coco Beach, Florida then we got to go to the happiest place on earth (Disneyworld) as the happiest people on earth.

Now here we are on our WEDDING DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!
